The International Scientific Committee and the Local Organizing Committee for the Thirteenth International Workshop on Quantum Systems in Chemistry and Physics (QSCP-XIII) would like to welcome you to the conference website and thank our Honorary Chairs and our sponsors for their kind support.

This web site is intended to provide you with the important information that you will require if you plan to participate in QSCP-XIII. Please note that the web site is open for registration, abstract submission, and room reservation through the Registration & Fees, Abstract Information & Submission, and Lodging links in the main navigation bars.

The workshop is being hosted by the Department of Chemistry (www.chemistry.msu.edu) at Michigan State University (http://www.msu.edu). The university is located in East Lansing, Michigan, USA. Information about the State of Michigan is available at www.michigan.org. Information about the Greater Lansing area is available at www.lansing.org and here.

All events will be in the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development located at 3535 Forest Road, Lansing, Michigan at the southwest edge of the Michigan State University campus. Lodging will be available at Candlewood Suites which is adjacent to the Henry Center.

Here is an announcement flier for this meeting that you may redistribute as needed. For the updated version click here. QSCP-XIII is listed on the CCL List of Conferences.

The emphasis of the QSCP Workshops is on many-body methods: the development of innovative theory and its computational realization, together with their application to a broad range of problems. QSCP Workshops have been held every year since 1996. The first meeting was held in San Miniato, near Pisa. It was recognized that, although the prospects for the theoretical study of quantum systems in chemistry and physics had progressed radically since the dawn of the computer age, computation on its own was not enough; new theoretical work had to be encouraged to extend both the range of problems amenable to study and the accuracy of applications in a range of areas. It was felt that such progress could only be made on an international scale. The community agreed and the QSCP Workshops are now an established fixture in the calendar of leading researchers in this area. For more information on previous QSCP Workshops click here.

We will continue updating the web site as we approach the workshop. You may contact    for more specific information.
