Professional development workshop
It was our pleasure to welcome Regina Carey of Carey On, LLC as our first Professional Development Workshop on November 7, 2018.
De-“Fine” Yourself® by Being Present – This one-hour workshop provides strategies for being confident, aware and present in our lives. When we are stressed out, tired, on our phones, crossing our arms, hunched over our computers or feeling like we are not good enough, we are abandoning ourselves.
This session teaches participants how to bring more POWER into their lives with a few simple strategies. From head to toe, we will arm ourselves with accessible skills to make sure we are present in our own lives!

2018 Tailgate
ACS WiC hosted our first tailgate on August 31, 2018 for the MSU vs Utah State football game, in which chemistry grad students and faculty had a great time discussing research and work while enjoying food and fun games!
2018 Brown Bag Lunches
A bown bag lunch is the perfect opportunity for everybody to share their research with the rest of the graduate students and postdocs and practise their presentation skills, in an informal and frindly environment.
