Friday October 30, 2009
We are excited about
planning a "MSU Visitation Day" Friday October 30, 2009 (3-5pm) when potential graduate students visit specific
departments and laboratories. This event will give
undergraduates a chance to meet one-on-one with
professors and graduate students.

During this year’s regional conference we are organizing a poster session (9:30-11:30

with Dr. Lealon L. Martin (Rensselaer Polytechnic

Clean Water, Clean Medicine: Technological Challenges
and Opportunities in a 21st Century Green Economy”.
After the luncheon, we will
have two sets of simultaneous (set
1 1:30-2:30 pm, set 2 3:00-4:00pm) professional development workshops
for undergraduates, graduate students and professionals.
In fact, Dr. Jake Yeston, editor of Science Magazine
will share technical writing tips. For speaker biographies,

Later that day, we will have a Recruitment Fair (4:00-6:30 pm) and Regional Mixer (6:30-8:30) as well. This is wonderful opportunity
