Welcome to the Center for Crystallographic Research. Formed in July of 2007, to support the research endeavors at Michigan State University, with resources for Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction (SCXRD), Powder X-ray Diffraction (PWXRD) and X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF). The Faculty has acquired instrumentation from various sources which include Bruker and a Rigaku SCXRD instruments, a Bruker PWXRD and a Bruker XRF. Please check out the links and information within these pages and I hope that they provide a useful tool to discover the great advantages that X-ray diffraction can have on the research performed here at Michigan State University and surrounding academic institutions. 2021 the CENTER ADDED HIGH PRESSURE CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUES TO ITS LIST OF RESEARCH OPTIONS.
