Configuration Nomenclature

The eight configurations A through H shown in Part 1 are redrawn below, with the four different substituents on each stereogenic carbon atom circled in color. D, of course, has no stereogenic center. These substituents have been randomly labeled by the letters a, b, c and d. For each of these stereogenic centers list the substituents according to their decreasing priority order by the Cahn Ingold Prelog sequence rules. The four letters (a, b, c & d) should be entered in the answer box in the order chosen. Following the sequence order question, you are asked to determine whether that stereogenic center has an R or S configuration.

Enter letters corresponding to your selection in each answer box.
Do not enter punctuation (eg. commas or semicolons) or spaces.
