We are encouraging students and professionals of color to register and submit
abstracts of their research for the Fall 2009 Midwest
regional conference. Abstracts are due by October
25, 2009 (extended). Registration forms can be downloaded here.
Inquiries can be directed to midwestnobcche09@gmail.com. Cash award will be given for best poster.
The
research abstracts should focus on developments and
advancements in the related
fields of green technologies:
- Alternative
Energy
- Recycling/Waste Management
- Building Materials and Construction
- Environmental Science
- Green Chemistry
- Green Engineering and Process Optimization
- Sustainability/Resource Management
- Transportation and Urban Planning
Posters will be presented on Saturday October 31th,
2009 during the Poster session from
9:30 am - 11:30 am at Student Union at The Michigan
State
University (Gold Room). Posters will remain up
until 12:00 pm on Saturday. Refreshments will
be served.
