Mesh Plot of the Density Difference at 2.32 Bohr

The above picture is of the density difference of oxygen at its equilibrium internuclear distance of 2.32 bohr. At this distance, the electrons move from the two blue areas around the molecule to the space between the atoms and the two localized regions of positive electron density on either side of the molecule. These are the "lone pair" regions and are further discussed in the isosurface visualization.
