Course Announcements:

The first problem assignment is due Wed. Feb. 24 in class.

The answers to the first problem assignment are on reserve in the Chemistry Library.

The second problem assignment is due March 15 in class. The second problem has a small revision.

The third problem assignment is due March 26 in class. There is a slight revision in Problem 4(a).

There will be no class on Monday, March 29. There will be no office hours on Tuesday, March 30.

The fourth problem assignment is due Wednesday, April 7 in class.

There will be no class on Friday, April 9.

The fifth problem assignment is due Wednesday, April 21 in class.

The sixth problem assignment is due Friday, April 30 in class.

The final exam is Friday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in room 119 Eppley. There is a take-home part on the density matrix which will count for 20% of the final exam grade. This part is due on Friday, May 7 at the exam.

Office hours will be held on Tuesday, May 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, May 6 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

You should bring a calculator and a ruler to the exam.
