Candlewood Suites Hotel is an extended stay, limited service hotel that is directly connected to the Henry Center.  All rooms are private, single suite accommodations complete with a full kitchen, executive desk, personalized voice mail, telephone, modem and Ethernet connections. In addition, the hotel has facilities for guest laundry and an exercise room.  Dry cleaning service is also available.

 

Note: All overnight guests of Candlewood Suites become temporary members of the University Club of MSU.

 

Amenities

Guest Business Center

As part of our price structure, guests of the Henry Center have access to an office facility containing internet workstations, laptop printer hook-ups, copier and fax capabilities. There is also an office available in this area for any staff that is required to be on-site, but may not need to attend the retreat all day. 

 

Audio Visual 

In order to ensure that your event goes well and as a part of our price structure, any audio-visual equipment that is located in-house will be made available to upon advance notification for no additional cost. This includes, but is not limited to; LCD projector, VCR, screen, overhead projector, microphones, flip charts and white boards.

 

Should you request any audio-visual equipment that we do not stock in-house, we will inform you of this and its respective costs.

 

University Club Fitness Center & Spa

Located near the lower east level of the Henry Center for Executive Development, The University Club Fitness Center & Spa is designed as an intimate adults-only exercise and relaxation center.  Listed below are the many activities that are available for your enjoyment:

 

  • State-of-the-art equipment – featuring two lines of strength equipment, 22 pieces

of cardiovascular equipment with 15.1” televisions and free weights.

  • Two group exercise studios, offering a full line of classes.
  • Men’s and women’s locker rooms, each with steam, dry sauna and whirlpool.
  • Spa services offered in four treatment rooms, with separate men’s and women’s relaxation areas (services available at an additional charge).

Considered one of Michigan’s premier golfing destinations, this world-class facility offers two 18-hole championship golf courses and a remarkable, nationally ranked 20-acre practice area known as the Golf Center.
