Center for Crystallographic Research

Analytical services provided using x-ray diffraction.

Manager and Lecturer: Dr. Richard J. Staples

Welcome to the Center for Crystallographic Research. Formed in July of 2007, to support the research endeavors at Michigan State University, particularity in the Department of Chemistry, the Center focuses on solving small Molecule Crystal structures. The hiring of world renowned crystallographer, Dr. Richard Staples, from Harvard University, and the purchase of new instrumentation brings the center to the forefront of the small molecule crystallographic world. Please check out the links and information within these pages and I hope that they provide a useful tool to discover the great advantages that X-ray diffraction can have on the research performed here at Michigan State University.
